Diploma of Chinese Herbal Medicine

Chinese Herbal

The Diploma of Chinese Herbal Medicine and Diploma of Microsystems are a three-year programme of study, each comprising the core curriculum of TCM and western medical studies, plus Chinese herbal medicine or microsystems courses respectively.

The first year is largely classroom-based, plus observation and assistance in student clinics. In the second and third year of study, students learn to apply their knowledge in the clinical practice.

The subjects of learning for Diploma of Chinese Herbal Medicine include TCM theory, diagnosis, herbs, classical formula, modern formulating, Chinese medical classics, professional studies, clinical patterns, anatomy and physiology, microbiology, pathology and pharmacology.
