Tuina Therapy- Peter Larking

We are offering post-graduate intensive Tuina instruction to those who have qualifications in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine. This normally 2 year course will be offered as workshops and weekend intensives that will be transfer credited to our level 7 Tuina Diploma. Successful partisipants will gain this qualifications in just a few months.

Tuina methods include:

  • The use of hand techniques to massage the soft tissue (muscles and tendons) of the body.
  • Acupressure techniques to directly affect the flow of Qi.
  • Manipulation techniques to realign the musculoskeletal and ligamentous relationships (bone-setting).
  • External poultices, compresses, liniments, and salves are also used to enhance the other therapeutic methods.
