What Will I Learn
This course provides foundation concepts of Traditional Chinese Medical history, philosophy, theory, Yin Yang, Five Phase strategies and applications of preventative care. Additionally the learning of Taijiquan and Qigong practices, describing the causes of disease according to TCM theory, defining the organisational structure and describing the functional characteristics of the human body are included in this qualification.
Qualifications Gained
Graduates credited with this course of study are able to integrate knowledge of the historical development of Traditional Chinese Medical (TCM) theory and philosophy. They will be able to explain the causes of disease according to TCM, perform exercises designed to maintain health and wellbeing and progress on to further tertiary study in TCM.
