The New Zealand Qualifications Authority (NZQA) has advised that the National Diploma of Acupuncture (NDA) is no longer supported and would be deregistered from 2009. Students currently undergoing NDA training must complete their training by 2012. They will still be awarded the NDA. However, the NDA has been removed by NZQA from the list of Quality Assured qualifications from the KiwiQuals web site and from the NZQA National Qualifications Framework.
