The Student evaluation process is based on 6 treatments, it is important that this is maintained. You will be asked to sign a contract acknowledging this. If more than 2 appointments are cancelled or postponed you will be asked to leave the programme.

Health information gathered may be discussed by the appropriate students of this school in diagnostic training sessions. We will maintain patient confidentiality and omit all personal details that would specifically identify a patient.

Benefits
The World Health Organization recognises a number of diseases successfully treated by TCM:
Cranial: Headaches, migraines, menieres disease, some forms of paralysis.
Sight: Conjunctivitis, simple cataracts.
Respiratory: Asthma, bronchitis, sinusitis, sore throat and common cold.
Gastrointestinial: Diarrhea, constipation, gastritis, colitis, hiccough.
Musculoskeletal: Osteoarthritis, sciatica, back pain, frozen shoulder, tennis elbow.
In addition, acupuncture treats a range of commonly occurring low-vitality symptoms such as: low or no libido, general tiredness even after a full nights sleep, poor concentration, low motivation, weakness of the limbs and depression.
Treatment Techniques
Acupuncture: Involves the insertion of fine needles (about the width of a human hair) into specific sites on the body which restores the balanced circulation of qi (life-force) and blood.
Moxa: Is a herbal heat treatment which warms specific sites on the body by burning herbs close to the skin - this treatment warms and supports the tissues of the body to promote healing. This has a very soothing effect.
Cupping: Is a method commonly used in the Far-east to restore the flow of qi and blood to an area to relieve muscular aches and pains.
Tuina: For people who do not want to try acupuncture, Tuina (Chinese medical massage) and acupressure (acupuncture without needles) may be used as an alternative.
